WHY NO.01 EXISTS.
No.01 began with a simple objective: build a serious cold-weather parka without compromising the restraint and versatility that define VAREMONT.
Its mid-thigh silhouette provides extended protection while leaving room for movement and layering. Premium down insulation is distributed throughout the garment using engineered baffle construction, while a protective storm hood, high insulated collar and adjustable cuffs help create a barrier against exposed conditions.
Every element has a purpose.

Protection

The outer shell of No.01 is designed around protection from wind, snow and rain while retaining the understated matte appearance central to VAREMONT.
The garment combines a high-tenacity technical face fabric with a waterproof and breathable membrane, durable water-repellent treatment and fully taped construction.

Insulation
WARMTH WITHOUT UNNECESSARY BULK.
At the centre of No.01 is premium responsibly sourced goose down selected for its warmth-to-weight performance.
Rather than simply increasing fill volume, the insulation system is designed around controlled distribution throughout the garment.
Zoned baffle construction helps maintain loft and reduce cold spots across critical areas.

The hood
PROTECTION STARTS AT THE TOP.
The No.01 storm hood is intentionally substantial.
Designed around exposure rather than decoration, its insulated construction surrounds the head and neck while multiple adjustment points allow the wearer to control coverage as conditions change.
A structured brim helps maintain protection and visibility in wind-driven precipitation.

Construction
PURPOSE IN EVERY DETAIL.
No.01 is built around details that have a reason to exist.
Custom matte-black hardware maintains the restrained exterior aesthetic. A full-length technical centre closure runs beneath a protective placket, and adjustable cuffs reduce exposure at the wrist.
Inside, integrated carry straps allow the parka to be carried over the shoulders when moving between environments without needing to hold it.
The result is a garment designed as equipment rather than decoration.

No.01 approaches that differently.
Integrated internal shoulder straps allow the jacket to be worn over the shoulders when removed, leaving both hands free while travelling or moving between environments.
