Materials
MATERIALS.
Every material choice has to justify itself against wind, water, cold and time.

Face fabrics
Matte technical face fabrics with low sheen, chosen for abrasion resistance and hand as well as weather resistance.
Waterproofing
Waterproof and breathable construction targets with sealed seams. Measured figures are published once independent testing confirms them.
Insulation
Insulation is mapped to heat loss rather than spread evenly, which keeps warmth high and bulk low.
Hardware and trims
Matte-black hardware and fur-free trims throughout, specified for cold-weather operation.
Technical DNA
- Weather Protection
- A weather-resistant outer shell developed around waterproof and windproof targets, with a protective collar, structured hood and storm-protected centre zip. Seams are sealed and hardware is chosen to keep working when it is wet.Hydrostatic head and breathability figures will be published here once independent laboratory testing is complete.
- Thermal Performance
- Insulation is mapped to where heat is lost rather than distributed evenly, so the garment stays warm while remaining wearable indoors.VAREMONT does not publish a temperature rating until it has been verified by testing. This field is reserved for that data.
- Materials
- Technical face fabrics, matte hardware and fur-free trims. Full material composition is confirmed per garment at launch and published on each product page.
- Construction
- Minimal seam architecture, reinforced stress points and clean internal finishing. Construction detail is documented per garment.
- Movement
- Sleeve and shoulder geometry is drafted around reaching and carrying, so the hem stays put when the arms lift.
- Testing
- Garments are in wear testing across British winter conditions ahead of launch. Results and verified specifications will be published here as they are confirmed. No performance claims are made ahead of verification.
